Dr. Dianne Como received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 1994. Prior to completing her doctorate, Dr. Como attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and was awarded a Masters in Social Work and a Bachelor of Science degree, Cum Laude.
For the past 15 years Dr. Como has been committed to helping people optimize their health through chiropractic care, providing patients with the highest quality of care and service and by providing information on how they can improve their quality of life. Her practice objective is to reduce or eliminate major interference to the expression of a patient’s body’s inborn ability to heal. She offers a patient centered perspective incorporating both therapeutic and preventative approaches. She pays particular attention to maintaining optimum body structure and nerve function as well as promoting improved health through evaluation of her patient’s health behaviors and conditions.
Dr. Como works with patients to address a number of health issues including neck and back pain, headaches, arm and leg pain, sports injuries, auto and work injuries, pregnancy and pediatric spinal health concerns.
Dr. Como has kept up to date on her post-graduate education, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care.
Dr Como was awarded her Certification in Chiropractic Pediatrics from the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics for successful completion of the Certification program sponsored by the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA). She was also awarded proficiency certification by the ICPA in Webster Technique. Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment which improves functioning of the pelvic bones, muscles and ligaments, leading to reduction of uterine constraint (uneven pulling) and allows the baby more room to get into the best possible position for birth.
Dr. Como is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association, Holistic Pediatrics Association, Minnesota Distance Running Association and Friends of Twin Cities in Motion.
Dr. Como has been a recreational runner for many years. She has finished several marathons and other 5K and 10K road races. She has enjoyed touring on her bike through various parts of the Midwest and East Coast. Her other interests include golfing, weight training, hiking, camping, biking and snorkeling any place warm and tropical.
